Ternopil Oblast

The Ternopil Oblast, otherwise known as Ternopil's'ka Oblast and Ternopillya, is located north of the Chernivtsi Oblast, south of the Rivne Oblast and the Lviv Oblast, east of the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, west of the Khmelnytskyi Oblast and has a population of over 1,100,000. The capital city of the Ternopil Oblast is Ternopil is located in the northern part of the oblast and has a population of over 200,000. Some of the Ternopil Oblast's attractions include Optimisticheskaya Cave (also known as Optimistic Cave), Ozerna Cave and Verteba Cave, where archaeologists have discovered ancient weapons and jewelry from the Cucuteni-Trypillian culture. Other tourist attractions of the Ternopil Oblast include the ruins of Czerwonogród and Czerwonogrod Castle, Pochaiv Lavra, Vyshnevets Palace, Ternopil Castle, Berezhany Castle and Dzhuryn Waterfall, which is one of Ukraine's highest waterfalls. http://come2ua.com/
